HOW DO I START?
You're writing a persuassive paper. You need to use logic and reason (with perhaps an emotional appeal thrown in) to convice readers of the merit of your thesis. Where to start? With research! Here's a guide that will help. Check out the tabs above: "Start Here" points out the best databases to use to begin your research. "Library Catalogs" is a reminder as to how to access print books. "Databases" is chock full of information about how to access other databases that might be useful for your topic as well as how to access historical and contemporary newspapers.
